Wood Pens and Gifts

Hi, I'm Nick and I started making pens when I was 13 in my Middle School wood shop class, that was just in 2006. Now, most of my other projects in that class were okay, but when it came to making pens, I seemed to have a knack for it. I don't really know how, but everything my teacher Mr. Owens had taught the class about lathe work just seemed to click in my head. So, I just wanted to say thanks to Mr. Owens for teaching me something fun and useful.

The reason I am trying to sell my pens is because I would like to be able to finance all my musical equipment and interests. Since I'm too young for most part time jobs, I came up with this idea one day after school. Normal part time jobs also are not as fun and don't allow me to set my own hours or let me use my creativity. When I told my Dad about it, he thought it was a great idea.

I'd like to be able to finance my musical interests in stringed instruments like guitars, mandolins, banjos, basses and equipment like amps and effects. Also, making money for college wouldn't hurt.

My parents are helping me with this business. Pretty much the process is that I make all the pens and things, my dad helps run the web site and my Mom helps with processing orders. We all help with trying to sell my pens and other gifts.
